At first glance, FishCraft’s SuperCat tunnel hull raft looks like one sweet fluff-chucking rig, but could it be equally at home coated in roe slime or back-trolling plugs as it is a serving as a platform for fly fishing?
The fine folks at Fish Craft (aka The Riverman Boat Works), say that the raft is part cataraft and part driftboat, combining the best of both worlds. You get the comfort of a hard floor and enclosure of a drifter while also having the forgiving qualities of a raft.

I almost cried the day I heard that STORM Pee Wee Warts were going to be discontinued. Though small, those little babies packed a mean punch when it came to pulling plugs for steelhead. [click to continue…]
I’ve always had this number in my head — 70 bucks — that was never to be exceeded when buying felt soled wading boots. The charcoal gray skeleton fish hooded sweatshirt by G•Loomis may just be the best piece of clothing ever made!
General Overview
With all apologies to the black cocktail dress, the leather bomber jacket and blue jeans, I have to say that this baby is numero uno when it comes to the best-ever invention in the clothing world.
With GLoomis’ famous skeleton fish logo on the front, the hoodie is a smart-looking little devil, perfect for fishing on cool days, hanging around…or even crashing your ex-girlfriend’s wedding (listen to the voice of experience, mt friends!).
The best part, however, is it’s absolutely bulletproof (not literally, but it did stop a ripbait armed with 3 dozen treble hooks from puncturing my chest when it came back at me at 107 mph after I yanked it out of a tree).

What’s the best lure ever?
Really, it’s a tough question and there’s no way to accurately answer it, but it’s still kind of fun to ponder anyway.
