I stick with the Berkley XL, 44 pound 8 ounce Striper on 10 pound test…trick is to keep your line fresh. Oh, and if I catch the big one on the small plug….I knew it all along, and it was on purpose. Good fishin my friends, Butch

I have seen many fish lost just for this one issue.

Ouch!
Come on down sometime to SoCal and try Fly lined live bait Barracuda on 8 pound test with bass gear. Takes a fast hand FerShure.
Good hooks too!
