20120910-160930.jpgThe Klamath River’s chinook salmon run is forecasted to be massive this year and the fishing should be epic! The bite is already going strong and will only get better over the next few weeks!

The above photo was sent to me by guide John Klar and the lower from Mike Stratman, who are obviously having some fun on the Big K!

I have property between Grants Pass and nine miles upriver below the fog line. In 2005 I got a nice 13 pounder on my first cast with a red and white Daredevil I threw just for shits and giggles.

I’m new this year to fishing plugs on the trinity and Klamath, I was wondering if you might let me in on some favorite kwik colors I might need for my arsenal?
