Okay, so it does get scorching hot down here in California during salmon season, but the warm weather does have its upsides…
But don’t think for a second it’s all looks and no substance here! While fishing with my good friend Mike Moore of Valley Guide Service, Amanda Bess put on a back-bouncing clinic on Sunday on the Sac that put most dudes on the river to shame.
Bess put a nice 40-pound limit of kings in the box, and rumor has it, Moore is currently considering giving his deckhand, Hunter Gibson, his unconditional release and signing her for the rest of the season :)

Man oh man! JD I think this calls for a new fishwithjd competition. Hottie hold’in a fish of the month, and the winner gets to go on a free trip with you and me( since it was my idea of course) in the dead of summer. Seriously that needs to happen. I think we already have winner.
