Patrick Sebile with his donkey
Globetrotting angler Patrick Sebile (of Sebile lures) landed this largemouth bass on Lake Okeechobee while fishing with guide Jeff Brooks.
The big bucketmouth sucked down a Sebile Proppler Buzz and measured out to 61 cm (24+ inches), which qualifies Sebile for a potential new All-Tackle Length record. The existing record stands at 59 cm. The bass was released after the photo.
The IGFA has a relatively new class of world records for anglers to shoot at: Catch & Release length records for many species.

If you go on our website http://www.eastcountybaitandtackle.com go the staff photos there is a photo of Ryan Escutia one of the shop employees with a 17lb large mouth caught at lake murray in San Diego that fish dwarf’s this fish.
Kevin Mattson. Mike Long. Joe Everett, John Kerr all have fish much bigger then this.
Lots of folks have but you can’t fault this guy for submitting an IGFA application when they came out with the new C&R records category.
Do you like the way he is holding it at arms length to make it appear as large as possible? And close to the camera?
I have released several 24 inch LMB in the past. If only Id of known…
The lake that I fish in here in GA has a 24″ min on LMB. WTH? Sooooo, keepers on this lake are some sort of world records?
Yep
Actually 61 cm is 30.5 in… Which is very rare
Kevin, what metric conversion chart are you using?
