Nine-year-old Ryan Yi looks to have a bright future in angling. Not only was this nice bucketmouth (that family friend John Eun’s holding) the kid’s first-ever fish but you guys also voted it in as the Hawg of the Month for October! The youngster hooked the big bass on a live minnow under a bobber at Lake Almaden in San Jose, CA.
Look for Ryan in the Hawg Bowl playoffs in December, where he’ll have a chance to go up against other monthly winners for a shot at a free fishing trip!
