Guys, a little advice for ya, if I may…If you’re one of those macho, know-it-all, super cool (read: insecure) kind of dudes, don’t ever take a woman fishing.
They’ll out-fish ya every single time. Personally, I think it’s super cool when the fairer sex flexes a little pescatorial muscle, but some dudes just can’t handle it. Luckily, Jim Mitchell isn’t one of those guys and is always stoked to see wife Christine hook up. Here she is with a nice colored up buck steelie from the Umpqua River in Oregon, which is our latest Hawg of the Month Contest entry.

As you can see my family and I spend alot of time fishing together storing memories. I enjoy fishing with my wife aka Dolly cause she looks like a doll fighting those Big fish she catches .I really cant wait till she learns how to row my boat (BIG SMILE an a WINK) So I can have some front seat time lol . I enjoy being out there on the Smith River. My wife is quite the Angler and picks up on stuff very fast we been together for 25 years and looking forward to spending the rest of my life with her !!!! does anyone need a tissue ?HUH Jim Mitchell

Chris not only catches them, but cooks them up really good, too! Talk about a girl who can do it ALL—and she’s beautiful, to boot! The Mitchells are proud to claim her, for sure!
Scientific studies have shown that women have the right scent…Pheremones-(sp?) that is!
Combined with better manual dexterity than men which gives the girls the “touch”.
Explaining the esoterical difference between a fresh chromer and a downer or dark fish, is tough when you try to get past the emotional side of a neophyte lady angler though!
