Unfortunately, the big one the kid caught on the Smith was killed...but there's a new regulation going into effect there next month that bans the killing of wild steelhead (finally!). Nice fish, great handling also to let him go. Ithink I know where that might be, it is amazing what happenes when your DON'T kill the broodstock and release them only to come back to spawn again. They kill brood stock on the Chetco and is why I believe the Chetco is in serious trouble. They need to release all wild fish.I know Dave he releases everything especialy like this one.
