Travis Bryan has done it again, folks! Who’s Travis Bryan, you ask? Well only the Inter-Galactic Squawfish Record holder, that’s who…and he’s been busy of late.
Here he is with his latest trophy, a Feather River dandy that he’s entered into our Smoker of the Year Contest. A nice fish to be sure, but a mere (pike) minnow compared to the record fish that propelled him to squaw stardom several seasons ago.
Since that fateful day in the fall of 2004 when he caught the largest squawfish ever seen in the three nearest galaxies, Travis has been working hard to perfect his craft.
The man, the myth, the legend...
“Yea, after catching the Inter-Galactic Record squaw, I’ve just kinda dedicated my life to catching these brown beauties,” says Trav, who actually gave up a date with teen music goddess Taylor Swift and opted to get in on a good squawfish bite instead. “Not only have I been carefully honing my squaw catching skills, but I also have a DVD and a couple books coming out. There’s also talk of me hosting a weekly cable show — Squaw TV.”
