After our quick fishing tour of Anchorage yesterday, we hopped on a plane to Cordova this morning and fished our asses off in a variety of spots. At Hippie Cove, there were thousands of chrome (and big) silvers laying in the salt water off a spawning stream mouth. They were rolling all over the place — you can see fish jumping behind Tim here…

But the bite was dead because of the tide, so we moved on to Ibeck Creek:
Where we encountered a few pods of chromers. Then, we headed off to a small creek for some dolly action on light spinning gear. We caught a few and then Reilly nailed this cool-looking red salmon while drifting faux roe on 4-pound leader.
We’ve fished about 15 solid hours over the last day and a half, so we’re beat and I’ve got to sack out. I’ll try to check back in later in the week…
