Ever heard of Menitroso Lake? Well, don’t feel bad if you haven’t. I certainly hadn’t until about three weeks ago. I’m guessing, however, that this little lake in the Modoc National Forest northwest of Alturas is sure to become a household name in the fishing community soon. Why? Jumbo, I mean jumbo brown trout — and lots of them.
